Women’s Fiction Writers (WFW) features the authors, books, and craft of traditionally published women’s fiction through original interviews and original guest posts usually scheduled 3 to 6 months in advance.
If your book falls under the WOMEN’S FICTION umbrella, please send me an email to: womensfictionwriters at gmail dot com with your request for a feature, along with information about your book, publisher, etc. Please don’t just send links (although including links with info is fine) because I get many requests for features—too many to accept them all or to spend hours clicking links to find out who you are. Make this as easy for me to say YES to you as possible. I don’t make money from WFW, it’s all the 5 a.m work of my heart.
And please note: WFW is NOT your mama’s book review site.
Rarely do I post a traditional review. I do post interviews and guest posts with utilitarian and/or inspirational takeaway for the website readers, mostly aspiring authors. WFW readers want the inside scoop on being an author and ideas for writing their best women’s fiction. They also want motivation and inspiration. Promotional “buy my book” posts are not included on WFW. If you interest or inspire the reader, she’ll click on your book links.
Whether I conduct an interview or ask for a guest post is my discretion, and depends on the timing, what is going on in my writing life, and what I believe will best meet the needs of the audience. Guest posts are accepted on spec and will be confirmed for publication on WFW as long as it meets the needs and focus of the site and is high quality. You’re welcome to pitch ideas or send a full post for consideration.
If you’re unfamiliar with WFW guest posts, please read some before pitching.
If you believe you’re a match for WFW, I look forward to hearing from you!
